Access to and use of the Dota-League to be found at
www.dota-league.com, www.dotaliga.de and www.dota-league.de, is provided by the DLeague Limited subject to the following terms:

1. By using Dota-League you agree to be legally bound by these terms which shall take effect immediately on your first use of Dota-League. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all the following terms please do not access and/or use Dota-League.

2. The Dota-League / DLeague Limited may change these terms at any time by posting changes online. Please review these terms regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made by Dota-League / DLeague Limited. Your continued use of Dota-League after changes are posted means you agree to be legally bound by these terms as updated and/or amended.


Use of Dota-League

3. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public, or otherwise use Dota-League content in any way except for your own personal, non-commercial use. You also agree not to adapt, alter or create a derivative work from any Dota-League content except for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use of Dota-League content requires the prior written permission of the DLeague Limited.

4. You agree to use the Dota-League website only for lawful purposes, and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Dota-League. Prohibited behaviour includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any person, transmitting obscene or offensive content or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within the Dota-League.


Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

5. Content of the Dota-League, including the information, names, images, pictures, logos and icons regarding or relating to the Dota-League and/or DLeague Limited, its products and services (or to third party products and services), is provided "AS IS" and on an "IS AVAILABLE" basis without any representations or any kind of warranty made (whether express or implied by law) to the extent permitted by law, including the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy.

6. Under no circumstances will the Dota-League and/or DLeague Limited be liable for any of the following losses or damage (whether such losses where foreseen, foreseeable, known or otherwise): (a) loss of data; (b) loss of revenue or anticipated profits; (c) loss of business; (d) loss of opportunity; (e) loss of goodwill or injury to reputation; (f) losses suffered by third parties; or (g) any indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from the use of Dota-League regardless of the form of action.

7. The DLeague Limited does not warrant that functions contained in www.dota-league.com, www.dotaliga.de or www.dota-league.de content will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Dota-League or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs.


Intellectual Property

8. Any names, images and logos identifying the Dota-League, DLeague Limited, or third parties and their products and services are subject to copyright, design rights and trade marks of the Dota-League, DLeague Limited and/or third parties. This also includes further content such as replays, audio comments, rules, tournament regulations etc. Nothing contained in these terms shall be construed as conferring by implication, estoppel or otherwise any liscence or right to use any trademark, patent, design right or copyright of the Dota-League, DLeague Limited, or any other third party.

Broadcasting of matches provided by and played through tournaments, leagues, offline events and any further events of the Dota-League or DLeague Limited is solely subject to the Dota-League and DLeague Limited. If there is an interest of broadcasting the games provided by the Dota-League or DLeague Limited, please contact us through info[at]dota-league[dot]com

Accounts

9.

  • The user commits to following the rules set by Dota-League / DLeague Limited. Breaking these rules can result in a permanent ban from the Dota-League.
  • The user commits to using only an original copy of the game "Warcraft III - The Frozen Throne" by Blizzard Entertainment.
  • The user commits to stating general information on Dota-League about him- / herself in the best interest of Dota-League / DLeague Limited.
  • Dota-League / DLeague Limited does not take responsibility for the correctness of information stated by users on the Dota-League.
  • It is only allowed to create one single account per person. Creating multiple accounts will result in a permanent ban on the Dota-League.
  • Accounts created on Dota-League are not transferable. They can not be be sold on Ebay or any other similar sites. The accounts created on the Dota-League are the property of Dota-League / DLeague Limited.

10. Users on Dota-League are responsible to pay the taxes of possible prizes they won during league games, tournaments or any other events, in their own country.

11. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany solely applies.

12. You agree to use Dota-League Communities (including the Dota-League Forum) in accordance with the following Community Rules. These apply across all of Dota-Leagues community sites and services.


About your posts:

  • Contributions must be civil and tasteful
  • No disruptive, offensive or abusive behaviour: contributions must be constructive and polite, not mean-spirited or contributed with the intention of causing trouble.
  • No unlawful or objectionable content: unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive or otherwise objectionable material is not acceptable.
  • If you use multiple logins for the purpose of disrupting the community or annoying other users your accounts will be banned from the Dota-League permanently.
  • Be patient:users of all ages and abilities may be taking part in the relevant Dota-League Community.
  • No spamming or off-topic material: we don't allow the submission of the same or very similar contributions many times. Please don't re-submit your contribution to more than one discussion, or contribute off-topic material in subject-specific areas.
  • No advertising
  • Contributions containing languages other than English may be removed unless allowed in the relevant local house rules.
  • No impersonation
  • No inappropriate (e.g. vulgar, offensive etc) user names
  • You may not refer to specific URLs (web site addresses) unless allowed under the relevant local house rules. If you know of a worthy web site relevant to the discussion topic, please inform the host of the Community area.
  • Deliberate misuse of the complaints facility is not permitted. If you persist in doing this action may be taken against your account.

Safety:

We advise that you never reveal any personal information about yourself or anyone else (for example: telephone number, home address or email address), and please do not include postal addresses of any kind. If you have a helpful address to share, inform the host of the relevant Community area using the "Support Function" link, and they will promote it if they see fit.


About the law:

You may not submit any defamatory or illegal material of any nature in the Dota-League Communities. This includes text, graphics, video, programs or audio.

Contributing material with the intention of committing or promoting an illegal act is strictly prohibited and we will take legal steps, if done so.

You agree to only submit materials which are your own original work. You must not violate, plagiarise, or infringe the rights of third parties including copyright, trade mark, trade secrets, privacy, publicity, personal or proprietary rights.

The views expressed in the Dota-League Community areas are those of members of the public and are not necessarily those of the Dota-League / DLeague Limited.


If you are under 16:

Please get a parent's or guardian's permission before taking part in any Dota-League discussion.

Never reveal any personal information about yourself or anyone else (for example, telephone number, home address or email address).


If you breach these Terms of Use:

If you fail to abide by these Community Rules (and/or any variations in the relevant local house rules) when taking part in a Dota-League Community service, you will be warned.

This action may include your relevant account or accounts being placed into pre-moderation or a temporary or permanent suspension of your ability to participate in any or all of the Dota-League Community areas.

If you post or send offensive or inappropriate content anywhere on or to Dota-League Communities or otherwise engage in any disruptive behaviour on Dota-League, and the Dota-League / DLeague Limited considers such behaviour to be serious and/or repeated, the Dota-League / DLeague Limited may use whatever information that is available to it about you to stop any further such infringements. This may include informing relevant third parties such as your employer, school or email provider about the infringement/s.

The Dota-League / DLeague Limited reserves the right to delete any contribution, or take action against any account, at any time, for any reason.


General

13. If there is any conflict between these terms and specific terms appearing elsewhere on the Dota-League then the latter shall prevail.

14. If any of these terms are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these terms are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the remaining terms shall survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.

Your privacy is very important to us. We, the DLeague Ltd., created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our commitment to your privacy. This privacy policy explains what information we collect about you and what we do with it and it applies on all products, services and websites hosted by DLeague Ltd, e.g. www.dota-league.com. We want you to fully understand our privacy practices and therefore, in addition to this policy, we have assigned Mr. Martin Hermes to be Privacy Officer, which can be contacted for all questions concerning privacy.

What information do we collect?

DLeague Ltd. stores personal data which result from the registration at our services and of the use of DLeague Ltd. websites. Additional transaction data, generated due to the usage of our community services, is going to be stored as well. In order to prevent any form of malpractice, the users IP addresses are stored. We also collect aggregate technical information (IP addresses, country, screen resolution, browser language, etc.) and some more anonymous demographic information through Google Analytics during the usage of our services.

What do we do with the information we collect?

The stored information will be used to identify you on our websites. We do not give out any personal information to third parties. We may use aggregate data to analyze general user behaviour and characteristics in order to measure interest in the use of our services. We also use the information collected to evaluate and improve our services and analyze traffic.

Do we share your personal information with third parties?

No, we do not share any personal data with third parties. Third party advertisers have no access to the information you have provided to DLeague Ltd. unless you choose to share it with them. We may use statistical analysis of aggregate information to inform advertisers of aggregate user demographics and behavior. We will provide only aggregate data from these analyses to third parties.

How long do we retain information?

Is the information submitted in public forums confidential?

No. The services may offer chat rooms, forums, message boards and/or news groups to our users. It is important to remember that any information disclosed in these areas becomes public information.
