Interview with moods and his 'retirement'
The German player Leon 'moods' Wolff playing for Germany's finest team also known as diamondZ e.V. hereby retires. In an, what could be the last, interview moods gives his view about the team, DotA and about the fans.
The interview covers a lot of aspects and one of them are about the fans and the community. We`ve recently heard it a few times, that more players from the competitive scene finds the fans to be some evil motivation destroying creatures. Furthermore we get an insight into the team and how DotA and eSports has been to the German player, without further delay here is a snippet of the interview conducted by Fragster.
Was your decision to stop playing taken spontaneously or were you planning for this for a long time?

I think it has been on the horizon over the last weeks. I had no fun winning games anymore and became frustrated when losing. I cannot actually tell what caused that but I would say it was a mixture of my role, the team itself and DotA in general. The bad bootcamp did it`s part as well.
So there was not a last straw that broke the camel`s back?
In my opinion it would be unfair to blame somebody specific as I have been in an increasingly bad mood anyway. But what made me upset the most in the end was the fact that our funwars were pretty chaotic, Ventrilo was loud and exhausting and some simply did not take it that serious. At that point I came to realize that my time had come.
The roster of
diamondZ e.V. looks as following now:
Dominik `hexOr` Buhmann
Dominik `Black` Reitmeier
Alec `v1ctory` Güre
Roman `rmN` Paley
Rene `Kebap` Werner
Hauke `eQuiNOX` Segert (inactive)
Leon `moods` `Wolff (inactive)
Best regards,
Your Dota-League Team
