The third edition of the FARM 4 FAME Tournament Series has found his winner in Kingsurf. We received a positive feedback from the community, changing the map version to 6.56 and therefor, we will hold on to use it.

Some teams disbanded or forfeited the tournament. Check the FARM 4 FAME team page to get an update on the teams playing in this edition.

As you can see on the F4F website we spread the time for each round of the tournament. This is a tribute to the rising number of oversea teams and a service for the participating teams to make it easier to schedule the matches.

According to the issues of the last edition this round will be played until December and the next round will end right before Christmas - but the tournaments to be played will be spread over one month each.

Furthermore we want to announce that the ban of dmZ`s player Lacoste_ is reduced to one more tournament of FARM 4 FAME, meaning that he is allowed to play F4F December and the following tourneys.

Update: Due to dmZ playing Kingsurf at the scheduled time dmZ gave default win to ucpro-tbun`w4s|.

There were a lot of troubles and rumours going around in the past few days and many people wondered why Mom Equals Toilet received a default win against diamondZ, even though the replay shows, that diamondZ won the game.

The whole story behind this case started during the game dmZ vs ax-eSports. Both teams did not show their best behaviour, but Lacoste_ stood out so much with his bad manners, that we just could not ignore it. 

After the match, his team leader NozG apologized for Lacoste_´s actions towards the opponents, but Lacoste_ wrote that he does not want to apologize for anything. Even after he did not listen to us, we gave him another chance to apologize via email. He did not use this chance either.

The teamleaders of diamondZ were informed early enough that Lacoste_ will be removed from the roster, if he does not apologize. Sadly we have to announce, that Lacoste_ is banned until FARM 4 FAME season 7. 

Mom Equals Toilet received yesterday that Default Win for the first bo3 match, because Lacoste_ was not allowed to be used in their match due to the fact that he was banned (knowingly by his clanmembers) even a day prior to the match.

However dmZ is allowed to play the remaining two matches against MET until this sunday 23:59 League Time (without Lacoste_).

Update: Sadly EHOME had scheduling issues since they had to play in another event at a time that was only close before their scheduled date.

This and the swap of version played in F4F (v6.56) drove them to forfeit their match against mouz. Their manager stated to the F4F administration that his team would have not been able to play on a decent level after their long match versus Kingsurf and EHOME did not take care of the latest patch yet.

He wishes mouz good luck for the upcoming matches and promised that his team will adapt to the new version as soon as possible.

Tomorrow (21.10.) we will provide you the first match of the Chinese top team of EHOME.

The Asian powerhouse wants to sharpen their international profile by beating one of the big European teams.

And mousesports, who seems to be unstoppable right now due to their wins in F4F and other tournaments, is probably the worthiest enemy to face.

We will feature this match with a shoutcast by EsGC`Domi and a GarenaTV stream, and Domi welcomes MYM|PuSher as co-shoutcaster to give some unique insights once again!

According to our last weeks announcement of the third tournament within the FARM 4 FAME tournament series, we received a lot of feedback concerning our rule setup.

We spent a lot of time discussing the input we received and decided to provide  the tourney with some final rule updates. We recommend every team participating at FARM 4 FAME to read the rules once again. Here are the major changes for upcoming tournaments: 

• The Map Version is 6.56.
• The mode in-game is captains mode (-cm).
• It is forbidden to pause the game during the draft.
• Activating the enemies Glyph Of Fortification is forbidden(eg. using the crow)

Furthermore we removed all bans concerning heroes, meaning its up to the teams to decide which heroes shouldnt be used in their games. Also we removed the Eul´s limit from the rules. Each team is allowed to get a maximum of two necronomicons now. The limit of one Manta Style per team stays.

Two editions of the FARM 4 FAME tournament series have been played so far.

Both MeetYourMakers and mousesports made it to the finals. MYM managed to win the first final and the winner of the second tournament will be soon determined until Wednesday, 15.10.08.

Since there was a tight schedule for the first two tournaments and since a lot of roster changes happened in the past weeks, the F4F tourney staff decided to give all teams a one week pause before the third tourney starts. 

We will also use this pause to allow the teams to change their roster. If you want to add or delete players from your roster write an email to support@farm4fame.com including the name, surname, date of birth and a photo of the new player(s).

Some teams disbanded or merged with each other in the meantime. Those empty spots will be filled with teams, which get invited by the tournament administration. Check the FARM 4 FAME site for updates on this. 

We also would like to announce some rule changes for the upcoming tourney. We recommend every team should read the rules once more before the third edition starts.

Each teams contact person for us as administration will receive an e-mail with detailed rule changes this week, so ensure that we have viable contact information so you don`t miss this. 

Here are the most important rule changes for the next third edition:

• The tourney map for all upcoming matches will be 6.55b. If there will be another update for bugfixes or critical errors we will possibly switch to that version.
• Admiral Proudmore, Windrunner and Invoker will be banned from all upcoming matches.
• The default mode for the upcoming matches will be Captains Mode (-cm).
• Manta Style will be limited to 1 per team.

The match will feature two shoutcasts, one international by EsGC`Domi and the German community DotAsource.de will grant you another shoutcast by NiceTry.

And as special addition Domi will catch up with MYM|PusHer to discuss and comment the ingame action of the two teams!

We will also stream the match via Garena, so grab some chips or popcorn and ensure that you have drinks in your fridge to be prepared for tonights` FARM 4 FAME quarter final!
